Joe Orsi
Product development and Buildings Consultant
Joe has a Masters degree with distinction in conservation of buildings as well as teaching and trades qualifications.  He has many years’ experience in construction and building science dating back to the early 1970’s. Since then, Joe’s love of the historic built environment has led him to develop his skills and knowledge by working and teaching the ancient crafts.  Joe is regularly called upon as an expert witness and for his in-depth experience with building products.
Joe has served as Regional Education Officer for the Institute of Historic Building Conservators (IHBC) and is now a committee member of the regional branch of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB), He also serves on the National Technical Panel, regularly delivering CPD Building Limes seminars to trades and professionals internationally. Joe is a member of the Building Limes Forum (BLF), a consultant to Singleton Birch and Fibrelime.  In addition Joe is involved with research, product development and training with Bath, Sheffield and Anglia Ruskin Universities. Joe has established a reputation in the UK and Canada, not only as a leading expert in historic wrought iron but also for identifying contributing factors of Building Limes defects.
Michelle Contini
Architectural and Building Technologist
Michelle has a first class honours degree in Architectural Technology and is also a talented artist and ceramicist. She is experienced in construction, design and technology and can produce high quality drawings for surveys, historic reference and product design as well as planning and building regulations applications. Her love of the historic built environment and interest in environmental issues influences all her work.  She has won numerous awards, gained funding and patents for innovative construction materials and has been involved in product development and research alongside Joe Orsi.
Graeme Clark
Design and Planning Consultant

Graeme has an in-depth knowledge of the property market with particular expertise in planning, period restoration and building conservation. He has over 20 years’ experience, including work as a specialist advisor to English Heritage and Conservation Officer to District Councils. He has an honours degree in Town and Country Planning, a post graduate in Building Conservation and a diploma in Architecture.
